We propose a new debugging method for PLC software. Liberation from poor debugging environments, cost reduction, quality improvement, and as educational material for telework.
"Yomogi" is a general-purpose plant simulator that acts as a substitute for the control target of a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and assists in software debugging. By connecting the PLC's CPU unit to a computer via Ethernet or similar means and running this software on the computer, debugging of PLC software can be performed in a state that is closer to reality.
